Entering his third season of rallycross Guillaume De Ridder began his career as a junior kart racer and has a Belgian KF2 championship title to his credit from a decade in karting.
In 2013 the Belgian switched his attention to rallying where he drove in the Ford Fiesta Sport Trophy. Moving to the Group N category in 2014, De Ridder won the class in the Belgian Rally Championship. After further rallying in Belgium and France in 2015 and 2016, De Ridder switched to rallycross in 2017 when he raced in the RX2 series. Placing third in the first year, De Ridder was in the title battle until the last round of the 2018 season in which he ultimately placed second.
Moving from the feeder series to step into World RX, De Ridder will race a Supercar for the first time this year.
